Communicable disease prevention

UVic is committed to providing safe and healthy environments for all members of the university community.  We continue to monitor the public health guidance pertaining to COVID-19 impacts recognizing that it is now being managed primarily through vaccination as one of the various respiratory illnesses that can affect us all. 

Current guidance for the post-secondary sector is available from the BC CDC, and UVic's communicable disease prevention plan outlines measures to prevent the spread of communicable diseases, including COVID-19.
